Bye Bye Brooke...

Pretty emotional and all, but her time was up. She actually went a long way as a singer/songwriter in this competition, but the pressure to be original and innovative week after week simply caught up with her. That said, I STILL would have sent Jason home before Brooke, and I'm counting on America to boot him next week.


This is the critical time in the season when everyone is supposed to be at the top of their game and an exciting, heated battle is on. If that's the case, then why am i so bored to tears with the whole thing?? In fact, viewership is down and this year really should be the swan song, but noooo, they will indeed suck it dry till it's completely unwatchable.

What we did learn this week is that judges pay NO attention to what is happening on the stage. Never have 3 people been paid so much for doing so little. Cheers to that, Paula!
